The NZ Ice Cream & Gelato Awards are open to entries from all New Zealand ice cream, gelato, sorbet, dairy-free and frozen dessert makers. Entrants do not need to be a financial member of NZICA and can be awarded Gold, Silver or Bronze Medals. Note non-members of the NZICA are not eligible to win the Category Champion Trophies or to become a Supreme Champion.

2026 ENTRY FEES
The entry fee is $140 + GST ($161) for members and $200 + GST ($230) per entry for non-members.
Student Rate $100 + GST ($115) is applicable for the Open Creative Category and entry must be from a recognised educational institution.
Entry in the Pact Packaging Sustainability Award or Hawkins Watts New to Market Award do not require an entry fee. Indicate on the entry form if you wish/are eligible to be included for consideration for these awards.

If you require standard 2-litre containers, please contact Awards Administrator Carmel Clark by Friday 26 June so they can be couriered to you in plenty of time.
