About

The New Zealand Ice Cream Association (NZICA) represents New Zealand's ice cream, gelato, sorbet and frozen dessert producers. Its objective is to promote sales of locally-made ice cream, gelato, sorbet and frozen desserts. Manufacturers and Associates make up the membership.

New Zealand Ice Cream & Gelato Awards

NZICA maintains an Executive Office in Wellington to undertake administrative functions, represent the industry to Government and Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) and liaise with associated industries and organisations. NZICA is a member of the Food Industry Forum and the Dairy Product Safety Advisory Council (DPSAC).

The Association holds an annual Conference and runs the annual New Zealand Ice Cream & Gelato Awards in conjunction with the annual Conference.
