2013 NZ Ice Cream Awards
The 17th New Zealand Ice Cream Awards were announced in Wellington on Thursday, 30th of May, at a special awards dinner.
There were a record 307 entries for this year's New Zealand Ice Cream Awards. The Chief Judge Kay McMath and her team of four judges took two full days to judge the entries. They used International judging guidelines with each ice cream, starting off with 100 points from which points are deducted due to various imperfections such as appearance defects, body and texture, flavour defects and melting defects.
