Merry Christmas!
Summer is almost here and the NZICA Executive Committee wish you all a very Merry Christmas and successful summer trading. We're all looking forward to better ice cream eating weather!
Please diary these dates for next year:
NZ Ice Cream & Gelato Awards 2023 will be judged in July with results announced at an Awards Cocktail Party in late August.
NZ Ice Cream Sundae: Sunday 5 November 2023. Ice Cream Sunday didn't go ahead this year due to insufficient budget. The good news is we have been able to set money aside for 2023. We'll also be looking for a sponsor to support his exciting new event.
We hope you have a safe and happy holiday and we look forward to working with you all in 2023!

Industry News - new Cauliflower Ice Cream launched by Kinda
Mrinali Kumar of Kinda Plant Based Ice Cream has developed a new cauliflower ice cream from vegetables destined to be discarded.
The ice cream is not low sugar or low fat but was intended to be "an indulgence" for those with food allergies or people wanting to make a sustainable choice.
The ice cream, which comes in single serving tubs, is very similar to the composition of dairy ice cream. It is stable and does not melt quickly.
It comes in three flavours: strawberry ripple, triple chocolate and mint choc biccie.
